The linear slide rail is a kind of rolling guide, and the load platform can easily move linearly along the slide rail with high precision by means of steel balls making an infinite rolling cycle between the slider and the slide rail.

 

Compared with the traditional sliding guide, the friction coefficient of the rolling guide can be reduced to 1/50 of the original. Since the starting friction is greatly reduced, relatively less invalid motion occurs, so it can easily achieve μm-level feed and positioning.

 

Coupled with the design of the bundling unit between the slider and the slide rail, the linear slide rail can bear the loads in all directions such as up, down, left, right, etc.

The above display characteristics are not comparable to the traditional slide guide, so if the machine can match the ball screw , The use of linear slides for guidance will greatly improve the accuracy and mechanical efficiency of the equipment.
